Trust & privacy

A network is only as good as who’s kept out.

Everything here is built on one decision: verify first, and keep the space closed. That’s what makes the conversations, the referrals and the fund work.

Registration checked

Submit your medical registration number once. A reviewer verifies it before your profile carries the verified badge.

Private by default

Your posts, stories and messages live inside the network. There is no public profile page and nothing is indexed by search engines unless you switch it on yourself.

Doctors only, always

No patients, no pharma reps, no recruiters from outside the profession. Sign-in itself requires a verified phone or Google account.

Your data, your call

Export everything you have posted as a single file whenever you want, or delete your account and its data permanently — from the same settings screen.

What “private by default” means precisely

Your posts, stories, messages, connections and contribution history are visible inside the network only, and are not indexed by search engines. There is no public profile page unless you create one deliberately.

A public profile is an explicit, per-doctor opt-in in your settings. It is off until you turn it on. When it is on, it publishes only what you choose to put on it — name, speciality, qualifications, city, workplace and a description. It never publishes your posts, stories, messages, connections, phone number or email, and switching it off removes the page.

What verification does and does not prove

Verification confirms that a medical registration number was submitted, reviewed, and matched to the person holding the account. That is a meaningful floor — it is what keeps out impostors, patients, recruiters and pharma representatives.

It is not an endorsement of anyone’s clinical practice, and it does not transfer your professional obligations. Verification tells you the person you are speaking to is a real, registered doctor. It does not tell you they are right.

Your data

You can export everything you have posted as a single file from Settings at any time. You can delete your account from the same place: personal details are permanently removed and sign-in is disabled immediately.

Child safety standards

DoctorClub is restricted to licensed medical practitioners. Membership requires a state medical council registration number, checked by hand before an account is activated — a barrier that structurally excludes anyone who is not a practising, registered doctor, including minors. DoctorClub has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) content or behaviour of any kind, and will remove violating content, terminate the associated account, and report to the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Every post, story and profile carries a report action, and any member can block another member outright. Reports reach our moderation team directly and are reviewed by a person, not resolved automatically. If you encounter CSAE content or behaviour anywhere on DoctorClub, report it in-app or write to support@drclub.org — this inbox is monitored and is the designated point of contact for CSAE compliance.
