Terms of Use

Last updated 19 August 2026

These terms govern your use of DoctorClub, including this website and the application at app.drclub.org. By creating an account you accept them.

1. Eligibility and verification

DoctorClub is for licensed medical practitioners in India. You may create an account with a phone number or Google account, but your profile carries a verified badge only after a reviewer has checked your medical registration.

You must give accurate registration information and must not submit another person’s registration, a forged document, or a registration that has been suspended or cancelled. We may suspend or remove an account where verification fails or where information later proves false.

Verification confirms registration. It is not an endorsement of any member’s clinical competence, and it does not make DoctorClub responsible for a member’s professional conduct.

2. Your account

One account per person. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • post identifiable patient information, or any clinical material that would breach patient confidentiality;
  • impersonate another practitioner or misrepresent your qualifications;
  • use the network to market pharmaceuticals, devices or services outside the permitted opportunity listings;
  • scrape, copy or republish the member directory or its contents;
  • post unlawful, defamatory, harassing or discriminatory content;
  • post an opportunity listing that is misleading, expired, or not genuinely open.

Patient confidentiality is the one we enforce hardest. Anonymise before you post, and do not post identifiable images or records.

4. Content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant DoctorClub a licence to host, store, display and distribute it within the service so that we can operate the network, and to publish the specific profile fields you choose if you turn on a public profile. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we are required to retain a record.

5. Moderation

Opportunity listings are reviewed before publication. We may remove content, refuse a listing, or suspend an account that breaches these terms, and we may report conduct to a State Medical Council or other authority where we consider it warranted.

6. The Care fund

Care is voluntary mutual aid, not insurance. There is no premium, no policy contract, no underwriting, and no guaranteed payout. Enrolling does not entitle you to any payment, and no contribution creates a right of recovery.

  • Enrollment is optional and you may leave at any time.
  • Contributions are made per claim and are not refundable once paid to a settled claim.
  • Claims are reviewed before approval, and approval is not guaranteed.
  • What was raised and what was paid is published to contributors.

If you need guaranteed cover against a defined risk, buy a regulated insurance product. Care is not a substitute for one.

7. No clinical or professional advice

Content on DoctorClub — including discussions between members, guides on this site, and clinical calculators — is professional information for licensed practitioners. It is not clinical, legal or financial advice, does not account for an individual patient, and does not replace your own judgement, your local protocol, or the primary source. You remain solely responsible for your clinical decisions.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change or discontinue features.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DoctorClub is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss arising from another member’s conduct or content, for clinical decisions taken in reliance on material on the service, or for any expected Care payout that is not approved or not made.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, for failed or falsified verification, or where required by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction.
